Join CABLE to inspire, and to be inspired.
Why become a CABLE Mentor?
Be a leader of the future.
Leading an undergraduate is a challenging but fufilling experience. Mentors have expressed how impressed they were with the quality of mentees – they have supported the mentors in their project work while picking up new skills.
Design your own mentorship, together.
CABLE Mentorships are uniquely flexible and open, where mentors and mentees are free to tailor their learning goals. This process is supported by Connect.ed who acts as the facilitator of the programme.

Academic requirements: We welcome anyone who is working towards or have already done a postgraduate degree (masters/PhD/post-doc/career academic) from all fields of study to become CABLE mentors.
Nationality/Location: We welcome participants from all nationalities and base locations as our programmes will be virtual unless specified.
Mentorship scope: You may choose to offer generic mentorship (e.g. discussions on topic of interest, career advice, insights into postgraduate life) or a project-based mentorship. If you choose to become a Project Mentor, you will have to be able to offer your mentee the opportunity to participate in a Research Project as part of their experience with CABLE. This Research Project can be either a personal initiative or part of your academic thesis if allowed by your affiliated institution. If you have any queries about the Project Mentorship, please contact us.
